Looks quite allright for the built in camera... I will soon post some picture samples taken with X500 Glofiish.

Talking on the phone...

X500 Glofiish it's a really nice PDA to be used as a phone. But, I talk quite a lot on the phone, so it happens that I am in a middle of a conversation and someone else is calling me. I have two choices: put on hold the person I am talking to and answer or just keep talking and ignore the other call.

Ignoring the other call is not a good thing to do. The phone has its own personality, so when the other call is hanging up and my current conversation is forcibly closed too.
So this is filed under the bad of this PDA.

You need to register first, before you can download software updates and manuals.


For registration product's serial number is required.
BTW: registration page works only under Internet Explorer (I am pretty disappointed about this)...

ETEN X500 Glofiish

This first post is about ETEN X500 Glofiish, the thinnest all-in-one PDA: Pocket PC Phone, GPS, WI-FI & more.

Can be used for:

• communication: phone, email, mms and sms
  
• fun: play Solitaire and Bubble Breaker are installed by default
• time management: sync with Outlook Calendar and you will not miss appointments and tasks
• take pictures: 2MP build in camera (recommended to be used in natural light)
• GPS navigation: build-in GPS - really useful to find Nowhere Street No. 27
• watching TV: windows media player and a tv stream.
• reading: Microsoft Word Mobile and Adobe Acrobat - mobile version
